I think I can answer this prompt by saying when I work on a project, a commission, prints for my Etsy shop or my own personal work, I hope that my work makes you smile!

Another really important thing for me which is integral to Illustration is COLOUR. Good colour choices make a HUGE difference to your design work.
I remember my A level design teacher saying to me "You have a really good colour sense" I had no idea what he meant - but before I do anything I try to choose my colours first. In my experience if the colour is good the outcome is good!

One colour I struggle with is purple. And I think my favourite colour combination is mustard yellow and coral pink...
