A glimpse

I always am intrigued to see other peoples workspaces, I have a bit of a long term dream...... to one day have my own room where i can put all my things (which are currently either at my desk or in the loft) and be able to shut the door to the mess. It wouldn't have to be big - just enough space for a desk and storage and lots of daylight. I follow Jane Foster and she has recently had a studio built in her garden - its looks amazing, white walls, lots of light and as always she has filled it with all her lovely brightly coloured prints and textile pieces. So the plan is one day to do something similar. In the meantime I shouldn't moan as i have pretty much taken over one of the rooms downstairs, but quite often behind my desk on the floor is either a big new lego creation, a train track or just general boy stuff.... So I'm just sharing a few pictures of my desk and storage etc. Also I have a new obsession with succulents, in recent months they seem to be everywhere, I like the fact they are really low maintenance but still look really good!
My cat is always on my desk, nice company apart from when she stands on my keyboard and deletes what is on screen... The 2 paintings you can see on the grey board are by Amy Blackwell, she does such lovely little illustrations.
My brother made me this unit whilst I was doing my degree, it was made especially for A1 paper so its really deep, I managed this week to find space for it and filled it with my books, sketchbooks etc.
And finally some shots of my succulents which are now housed in some really sweet patterned cups.
